Accessibility Statement

Web accessibility means making sure that people with the widest range of capabilities can easily access information and functions available on the internet.

The SO-CLOSE project and La Tempesta (Tempesta Media S.L.) are committed to making their website https://so-closetools.eu/webdoc/displaced-voices-in-fences/ accessible and look to ensure equal access to information for all users, with or without disabilities, regardless of the device or software they are using and the environment they are working in so that they can use the information, services and tools that the company provides.

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://so-closetools.eu/webdoc/displaced-voices-in-fences/.

Directives and conformance level

La Tempesta is actively working to improve the user experience for everyone by increasing the accessibility and usability. This work involves trying to meet the current standards for our products and content, including those listed in the EU web accessibility directive (Official Journal of the EU), which entered into force in December 2016.

The directive requires to apply European standard EN 301 549 to the websites and online tools. This standard is based on the latest version of the guidelines, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. The tools, as these were designed and implemented by La Tempesta provide environments for publishing content, with a conformance level AA. This requires the content to be prepared and published according to the same guidelines.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines were produced by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as part of the web accessibility initiative. They are intended for all web content providers, writers, developers and designers.

La Tempesta, is also committed to making its website  accessible in application of the Spanish Royal Decree 1112/2018, of 7 September, on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile device applications   , which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
